GD24 Tournament E-Scoring System
Systems
The GD24 tournament system supports both regular strokeplay and matchplay. For strokeplay you can play with or without a cut per category. The corresponding settings are easy to set up and are informatively prepared for online viewers.
Scoring
The scoring can be done as flight-scoring or E-Scoring. During flight-scoring, the scores are entered by one player per flight. Alternatively, a caddy can also take over the score entry. For E-Scoring, every player scores themselves. Therefore, paper scorecards are no longer needed. The score entry is done in self-explanatory interfaces on ones smartphone or tablet. No app-installation is required.

Statistics
Offer spectators and players additional analysis throughout the tournament. In addition to regular placement changes and detailed scoring information, our leaderboards show the individual player scores in comparison to the tournament average; detailed for every hole.
Time-check / Referee-Module
Keep an overview on the course. Our referee-module displays every flight on the course and their corresponding hole, as well as their pace-of-play compared to a pre-determined guideline. Recognize delays in advance. Additionally, you can send notifications to individual flights about their pace-of-play. In return, players can directly call a referee through the interface in case of any rule-questions.
Individually Customizable
Present your tournament sponsors successfully and increase the return on investment for your sponsors. Up to 3 tournament sponsors can be presented on all leaderboards, including links to sponsor pages. The logos can easily be exchanged and reused. Minimum effort, maximum reach.

Frequently Asked Questions
Questions about Live- and E-Scoring
1. Does every player need a smartphone?
Only one player or caddy needs a smartphone for Flightscoring. For e-Scoring, every player needs a smartphone as this replaces the paper scorecard.
2. What are the requirements for e-Scoring?
For e-Scoring, every player needs a smartphone. The scoring is browser-based, therefore no app-installation is required. Ideally there should be a continuous 3G coverage (4G/5G better) across the course. Dead spots on individual holes are usually not a problem. The required mobile data for an 18-hole round is also less than 1 MB.
3. Why is e-Scoring the better alternative?
With e-scoring, the scores entered by the players are continuously compared. Appropriate warnings are also displayed if a hole has been "forgotten". Since the scores are already compared at the end of each hole, only special cases have to be compared and scorecards signed at the end of each round. A scoring area is therefore not required. Likewise, the values displayed in the live scoring are 100% correct.
4. Can scorecards be accessed after the tournament?
Yes. Besides the scorecard being displayed on the leaderboard, a PDF copy of the signed scorecard can be provided on request.
5. Can the leaderboard data be included on our club website?
Generally, yes. By default, both a JSON and an XML interface are available. Your web service provider is responsible for the actual integration, but we are happy to support them.
